Given that this was one of the earliest novels that truly initiated me into sci-fi manga beyond the many sci-fi films and shows that I watched, it is natural for my perspective to be biased toward it. Plus, the fact that I did not bother going deeper into sci-fi makes this a kind of signpost more than anything. So when it comes to this review, this is a crucial limitation.
