Samuel Joshua Pe's About Section

I was born in Asian Hospital on January 20, 2003, where my two younger brothers were also later born. Beyond that, my family moved to our previous apartment on the year that I was born, and we later moved out of that apartment into our current one around late 2010 or so. In my earliest years, I spent most of my time playing around with floppy disks, watching Barney and other TV shows, including Christian ones like Psalty the Singing Songbook and probably Hermie and Friends (this one probably years later). We had many video clips of me eating champorado messily, siblings clapping and cheering to get me to stop crying, and one particularly embarassing moment that I dare not mention. By around 2006, I went to NCA, my first school. By 2013, I entered home school under ACE School of Tomorrow because NCA was under it as well. So our manuals were called "PACES." From 2006 to 2013, I engaged in innumerable films and media, travelled, and remember many moments from school, like being bullied by Gian, being called out by Ardy for smiling with my lips hidden, having a crush on Kelsey for smiling and being kind to me, teasing Yuan (spelling?) with JM, and many others, like memories with Raven, Eman, Isaiah, Clarence, Cheenie, Mico, Joanna, Xyrelle, Jared Deputo (we always said his full name I think for some reason or maybe I'm wrong), and many more. Beyond NCA, I engaged in other activities, including (but not limited to):

  1. Playing AdventureQuest back in 2010 or so
  2. Creating my FB account in September 2009
  3. Playing Facebook games:
    • 2010:
    • Backyard Monsters
    • PetVille
    • Ninja Saga
    • Icy Tower
    • BRAAAINS
    • Pet Society
    • 2011:
    • Ninja Warz
    • Zombie Pets
  4. Creating my Roblox account in late 2011
  5. Playing Roblox regularly in 2012
  6. Playing League of Legends in either 2012 or 2013

By 2013, when I moved to home school, after all the E Pass, field trips, and scoring stations, I was finally able to explore new interests:

  1. Roblox Studio programming/coding (which I already did back in 2012 for someone that I knew, probably my cousin or my former close friends Denver or Denzel).
  2. Making Incredibots 2 bots (which I was already doing in 2010, but finally released bots online in the official forum)
  3. Playing video games with friends at Internet cafes
  4. Watching Youtube videos
  5. Traveling

By 2014, being 11 years old, I was already at a junction in my life, where I was leaving behind my "childhood" and moving toward life as a teenager, and I could tell it myself. I went to a life-changing camp experience that led to increased traveling and participation in community events from 2014 to 2016, which, while only being 3 years, was so extensive and formative in its impact that it basically became how I saw my pre-2017 life.

By 2016, I became friends with my cousin's friends at the time and got closer to relatives. I got close to a lot of different people, as seen in my solo participation in eMerge 2016.

By late 2017, my world view changed, but in March 2017, a Roblox gameplay of me and my siblings shows that this change was drastic. It was only in 2018 that the effects of the event of late 2017 truly took root, which resulted in my abrupt exit from high school during the school break around October of that year.

The late-2017 event dramatically challenged my perspective of what it meant to be a Christian, enough that my previous connections to many other churches evolved rapidly. Going to high school from 2017 to 2018 only reinforced its impact by isolating me from my established communities and the interconnected person that I was from 2013 to early 2017.

By 2019, I was crippled on a psychological level, and my writings evolved, departing significantly from my writings in 2018, 2017, 2016, and 2015. The abrupt cessation of my social circles and its cumulative impact culminated in 2019, a year of depression and therapy, which partially extended to 2020. When it comes to activities, in 2019, I played Minecraft seriously solo by myself, going Hardcore Mode for the first time and started reading, consuming manga, and web comics. By 2020, I started live-streaming on Twitch for the first time, started drawing, and continued expanding myself as a writer, testing out ideas. By late 2020, I stopped therapy, by which time I also stopped my first 2-month coached regular gym workout. By July 2021, I started a Minecraft server for my Twitch viewers, exploding in views suddenly and randomly (which never happened again to me) and completely changing the direction of how I perceived self-expression in the online space, since even after that Minecraft Twitch period, I started uploading videos and never stopped. This was my first years of participating in the internet in a much more creative, solo, and personal capacity than just talking in a League of Legends match or Roblox game with real life friends. By 2022, I wrote my most developed experimental writings. By 2023, I started my autobiography-journal on July 4, wrote my first novel-length (at least 40,000 words) story, "In the Maelstrom's Embrace," completing it at 130,000 words in only about a month. In 2024, I wrote my first 200,000-word work from January 28 to April 27 and even serialized it chapter by chapter, and since May 28, my journaling writing speed accelerated to 7,000 words a day and did that for over a year until March 9, but gaining significant weight and going from overweight to obese. By March 9, 2025, I reached over 3.1 million words in my "autobiography," which I now called the autobiography-journal. Today, on June 8, 2025, I wrote this with closure. I have not mentioned a myriad details, including my classmates in high school, the people I knew from the numerous church communities and district events that I've known, and my pre-2019 creative history. Ultimately, this is who I am, at least from the perspective of this writer that I am today.
